Save the Date! The 8th annual "Driving for Surviving" Melanoma Charity Golf Classic and Silent Auction will be held on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, beginning at 1:00 pm. More information

Since 2003, the Foundation has hosted an annual golf tournament and silent auction to raise money for melanoma research. The event is called the "Driving for Surviving" Melanoma Charity Golf Classic and is held in the Fall in Northern Virginia. Since its inception, this event has raised more than $200,000 to fund research and trial studies by Dr. Wen-Jen Hwu at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

This is a very popular event, and we can only accommodate 144 players each year, so please register early to reserve your spot in our next event.

Proceeds All net proceeds from the event are donated to fund melanoma research. In 2009, we donated $30,000!

Silent Auction Each year, we have many exceptional items available for purchase through our silent auction. Learn more

Raffle We also raffle off a number of valuable items. Each golfer receives one raffle ticket at registration and can purchase as many additional tickets as desired. Learn more

Hole Sponsors You can show your support for the Foundation and its mission to "touch a life" by signing up to be a hole sponsor. A sign with your name and a message of your choice will be displayed on one of the holes throughout the event, and you will be recognized in the event program. Click here to sign up.

Primary Sponsors A limited number of primary sponsorships will be offered. Each primary sponsor receives two free foursomes, a reserved table for dinner, prominent placement of signage or other materials at the event and prominent mention on the tournament brochure and event program.
